We are excited about this next chapter in our lives as we become one. We are getting married at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and hope you can join us for a special celebration in paradise! We want everyone to relax, have fun, and enjoy a memorable vacation with us but we recognize the financial obligation and effort it will take to join us. We don’t want anyone to feel obligated or pressured to come and understand if you can not make it. If for any reason you aren’t able to join us, we’ll be looking forward to toasting with you the next time we see you as a married couple! Once your booking is confirmed and deposit is processed, you have graciously RSVP’d “yes”!! Your dedicated travel consultant will send you a formal invoice confirming the details of your trip & to discuss the next steps.
Please allow up to 2 business days for the booking to be confirmed.
Payment Deadlines
Initlal Deposit ($200/pp + optional travel insurance) is due by July 1st, 2024
Second Payment (50% of total cost) is due by October 15th, 2024
Final Payment (remaining balance) due by May 1st, 2025

Each of you will have a dedicated travel consultant, based on the first letter of your last name. So, if you happen to have any questions about booking, please reach out to us! Otherwise, we’ll be in touch with your travel quote & once a deposit has been paid, we’ll provide confirmation of your reservation and payment.

Each guest will be responsible for booking their own flights.
A valid passport is needed for your trip. The Dominican Republic strongly recommends that passports are valid 6 months post travel. Please let us know if your passport expires before January 2026.
If you do not already have your passport, we recommend you begin the application process as soon as possible.
*Our travel team will request flight schedules after the final payment deadline, as this information is needed to confirm your round-trip transportation to/from the airport.

Travel Insurance is OPTIONAL and available for purchase at the time of initial deposit. Travel insurance is not automatically included in your package.
Insurance is highly recommended as travel suppliers, airlines, and resorts often charge fees for trip change/cancellation after your payment has been made. Dreams and Destination Travel is not responsible for penalties or fees should you change or cancel your trip. The cost of insurance is NON-REFUNDABLE once purchased and insurance policies are NON-TRANSFERABLE. The cost of your travel insurance is based upon the PER PERSON total package price of your vacation package.

Registry
Your presence at our wedding is the most precious gift we could ever ask for. Sharing this joyous occasion with our loved ones is a dream come true, and your presence will create memories that will last a lifetime.
We understand that attending a wedding can come with financial considerations. Therefore, we kindly request that you prioritize your presence above all else. Your love and well wishes are truly priceless to us.
However, if you feel compelled to honor us with a gift, we have a humble suggestion. Instead of traditional items and things, we figured time for us two to spend together as a newly married couple and making our home “ours” is much more important. We have set up a honeymoon fund where you can contribute towards our dream getaway and home improvement projects. It would be a meaningful way to support us as we begin our married life and create memories together.
Please know that your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift of all, and any contribution towards our honeymoon & home renovations would be cherished and deeply appreciated. Thank you for being a part of our lives, and we cannot wait to celebrate our special day with each and every one of you.

Can I Bring A Plus One?
We’re excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest family and friends and are keeping the wedding event limited to those on our formal guest list.
If you are interested in bringing an additional guest to the resort, you are more than welcome. However, please keep in mind that they likely will not be able to partake in wedding-related events as we have capacity constraints.

Cancellation Penalties
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: After October 15th, 2024 your reservation will be subject to the resort group cancellation penalties and will become nonrefundable. All payments are protected with the travel insurance protection, if insurance is purchased. Please review the policy information through Trip Mate to determine if you would like to purchase the group travel protection plan to protect your vacation package.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS: The deadline for each traveler to submit flight details will be May 30th, 2025. Our travel team will request flight schedules after the final payment deadline. Any guests who do not submit their flights before this deadline will be responsible for scheduling their own arrival/departure transportation. This service is bundled into the cost of your vacation package and is nonrefundable.
