My Story
My love of travel began long before I ever held a passport. My grandmother was a flight attendant in her twenties, and her stories from the golden age of flying captivated me — tales of faraway places, elegant travels, and the people she met along the way. My grandfather, an Air Force officer, swept her off her feet, and together they made the world their home through many deployments and adventures.
The spirit of travel didn’t stop there. My father, a Navy seaman, and my mother, a lifelong traveler and “military brat,” passed that same sense of curiosity and adventure down to me and my sisters. Our family vacations were never ordinary — from the beaches of Costa Rica and The Bahamas to Mexico, the Florida Keys, and countless Carolina coastal towns, each trip was filled with discovery and unforgettable memories.
A Life Built on Adventure
When I met my husband in 2006, one of the first things we bonded over was our shared love of travel — and it’s been a defining part of our story ever since. We were married barefoot on a white-sanded beach in Tulum, Mexico, with the waves crashing behind us — the dream destination wedding I had always imagined.
Since then, we’ve explored many corners of the world together, from St. Martin, Jamaica, and Aruba to England, France, Italy, Greece, and Malta. Each destination deepened my appreciation for new cultures, local flavors, and the joy of experiencing the world through travel. (For the record — the food in Italy and Greece still has my heart!)
